Peter explains his chords in Hot Tamales - Part 3 of our 8 part Video tutorial.AVI

Here's Peter (in close up!) showing his part in Hot Tamales. (Find the rest of the tutorials here: www.youtube.com ) A little about the man himself... At 6' 8", Peter Brooke Turner is the tallest member of the Ukes. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, as the son of diplomats, he grew up in the Soviet Union, Brazil, the US, Finland and Italy. He started playing the ukulele in 1989 after having worked his way through the violin, trumpet and the guitar, and has been playing with the Ukes since 1994. His work with many showbiz luminaries has included getting the gong from Des O'Connor, singing with Jules Holland and his big band, dancing with Shakin Stevens, lending his ukulele to Tiny Tim, and performing as a regular in the pre-tv "Big Night Out" with Vic Reeves. After writing his own rock opera, he fronted the "Ukulele Kings"- a ukulele rock group (with Jonty, current ukulele orchestra bass player, on lead ukulele) - and has more recently released two albums of his own songs, which have! been admired by Tim Rice and Robin Gibb. He is married with a daughter and enjoys swimming, tennis and entering the Eurovision Song Contest. Peter is only one family member of separation away from both Elvis Presley and Che Guevara.
